How We Started

CuddleBuds began with a simple intention, to bring cleaner, more trustworthy nutrition to pets.

While exploring available pet food options, it became clear that while there were many choices, very few focused on real ingredients, clear sourcing, and everyday balanced nutrition.

This led to the idea of creating fresh, home-style meals using high-quality, human-grade ingredients, free from unnecessary additives and built around what pets actually need. What started as a small, personal effort soon grew into a larger mission to make clean, reliable pet food more accessible across India.

Anurag Pandey, founder of CuddleBuds, is a legal professional turned entrepreneur and a graduate of NALSAR University of Law. After working with organizations like ICICI Bank and Reliance Nippon Life Insurance, he identified a gap in the pet food market, products that lacked transparency and relied heavily on processed ingredients. Driven by the belief that pets deserve better, he built CuddleBuds to offer clean, human-grade meals made with real ingredients. Today, the brand reflects his focus on trust, quality, and better everyday nutrition for pets.

Dipanta, co-founder of CuddleBuds, leads operations and growth, ensuring every product and experience reflects the brand’s commitment to quality and consistency. She plays a key role in scaling the brand while staying aligned with its focus on clean, trustworthy pet nutrition.
